UAH A Level students set for university

All pupils at University Academy Holbeach have offers from their first choice university after posting strong A Level results.

In total 65 per cent of pupils received A* to B grades with the average grade at L3 vocational level was ‘distinction’.

Principal Sheila Page, said: “We are pleased to be able to announce very good results in both our A-Level and Level 3 Vocational Qualifications.

“In both areas pupils have outperformed the overall grades achieved last year. We are delighted that this strong cohort has been awarded for their hard work and efforts over the last two years.

“Our young people can be very proud of their drive and determination and I should like to thank them for the way in which they have coped with the huge uncertainty they have faced since March.

“This has been a stressful time during which they have exercised much patience.

“Staff have worked very hard to provide accurate grades and we will be exploring the ‘triple lock’ process where we feel grades need to be reviewed.
