Two new homes ready for tenants in Cowbit

cowbit homesTenants will soon be able to enjoy two brand new homes in Cowbit.

The properties have recently been completed and will be rented to tenants of South Holland District Council.

The two bedroom homes have been built in Stonegate by D Brown Builders Ltd and were handed over to councillors at the site last week.

The buildings have energy efficient systems including air source heating and will be made available to tenants from the council’s housing waiting list.

Christine Lawton, the council’s portfolio holder for housing, said: “This is one of several sites that have been transformed into housing over the last eight years.

“We have been aiming to develop un-used garden areas and garage sites.

“This helps to fill areas in the housing stock that are in high demand, such as two bedroom family homes.”
