A Spalding family had more snow than any of us over the weekend.
There was none forecast, and Thursday’s flurry just wasn’t enough so the Tangs had their own snow delivered.
A white Christmas certainly came early after Liisa Tang won a competition.
She spotted a hidden snow globe on the website of retailer TK Maxx and won her very own white-out.
“I couldn’t believe that I was really the winner, it was such a surprise. I rushed to my husband to tell him about it,” said Mrs Tang.
“A white Christmas reminds me of my childhood and is magical. It just isn’t the same when it doesn’t snow at Christmas,” she said.
The family home was transformed into a winter wonderland thanks to the special delivery.
Eight cubic metres of real snow was delivered so Liisa, her husband Manfai and their children Yingli and Winghoi could enjoy their private winter wonderland.
