Spalding panto cast revealed: tickets selling fast

The cast has been revealed for this year’s pantomime at the South Holland Centre and tickets are selling fast, organisers say.

Aladdin is produced by Polka Dot Pantomimes and stars Vince Williams as Widow Twankey. Panto regulars will recognise Vince from his turn as Dame in the 2016 production.

Josh Davis plays Aladdin and the Genie is played by West End performer and X-Factor contestant Justin Vanderhyde.

Producer Darren Maddison said the audience can expect the full panto experience.

“As always there will be plenty of audience participation, modern songs to sing along to, huge amounts of laughter and a great story to ensure that everyone leaves with a smile on their face,” he said.

“Pantomime at the South Holland Centre is a wonderful experience for the whole family – and the entire team at Polka Dot are thrilled to be presenting this year’s spectacular production of Aladdin,” he added.

Darren said the work that has gone into the performance to remember.

“This year’s production will be the most spectacular ever staged at the South Holland Centre as we have built a brand new set, created amazing special effects and made dazzling new costumes.

“We have also written a brand new script which includes lots of laughs, a great storyline and plenty of audience participation.”

Polka Dot Productions said tickets are already selling fast, so encourage panto-goers to book early to avoid disappointment.

Aladdin will run for 36 performances from Saturday, December 9, until Sunday, December 31.
