Society’s calendar launched

Spalding and District Civic Society’s 2022 calendar is now on sale.
The society’s A4 calendar for 2022 covers Spalding and the surrounding area and consists of 13 beautiful pictures with spaces for appointments, birthdays and reminders together with interesting bits of information.
A spokesman for the society said: “Some photos will be expected – Ayscoughfee Hall, Springfields – but there are also surprises – The Coronation Channel as you’ve never seen it before; and how many of us knew that Pinchbeck has a nationally important dovecot?
“Some photos were provided by some of the town’s budding photographers following our appeal in the summer.
“We’d like to thank Stephen Ward, Andrzej Papiewski and Jenna Garfoot for their contributions.”
The Spalding and District Civic Society calendar can be purchased from Bookmark or Spalding News, while society members can get them at a discounted rate of £5.
