Saturday football: South Holland’s big three all see matches postponed

Spalding United, Holbeach United and Pinchbeck United all saw their scheduled fixtures postponed on Saturday morning.

A 9am pitch inspectiton deemed the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field waterlogged and put paid to the Tulips’ BetVictor NPL South East Division clash with Carlton Town.

Likewise, Holbeach and Pinchbeck had their respective Uhlsport UCL Premier Division games at ON Chenecks and Lutterworth Town rained off.

In the ChromaSport PDFL, the Premier Division games involving Holbeach United Reserves, Long Sutton Athletic and Tydd were also postponed in the morning, with more expected to follow.
