Thousands of visitors made their way to Holbeach for a great weekend of music and beer.

With live music, food, rides and beer on offer, some 12,000 to 15,000 people helped made the event a huge success.
Bands including The Upbeat Beatles, Wild Boys, Bon Giovi and Queen tribute band Flash – provided music for all tastes.
“It was definitely our best year ever. We had at least 5,000 people on Saturday and there were between 3,000 and 4,000 on Friday and Sunday,” said organiser Sean Taylor.
“It was a fantastic, family event and everyone had a great time. It seemed to explode and we had great crowds over the weekend,” he added.
With people arriving from as far afield as Northern Ireland, the camp site was a hive of activity across the event.
“We had people saying they are coming back next year and bringing their friends with them. It was such a good weekend and I don’t think we’ve got any choice about holding one next year,” added Sean.
Free shuttle buses took festival-goers to the King’s Field venue on the edge of town. There was also free entry for the under-12s and an array of children’s entertainment which was supported by the Holbeach Town Improvement Plan.
A total of 38 different beers and ciders were on offer – from Rosie’s Pig Cloudy Cider to Snake Eyes bitter and West Coast IPA.
The weather may not have been completely summery, but that didn’t deter the crowds from making the most of the festival, which was cancelled last year because of the pandemic.
