Moulton Harrox maintained their position at the top of the ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division table with a 2-1 home victory over Thorney on Saturday.
First-half goals from Marcus Parry and Louis Steadman inside the opening 20 minutes did the job for Harrox at Broad Lane, although Thorney did hit back through Adam Scott.
The victory sets Harrox up perfectly for Saturday’s Lincs FA Junior Cup semi-final against Sleaford Sports (1.30pm).
Moulton were initially due to face Lincoln Moorlands Railway, but they’ve been thrown out for playing a number of ineligible players.
Moulton’s Stuart Manning is hoping that South Holland sporting fans will make their way to Broad Lane to cheer them into a potential final at Sincil Bank.
He said: “We don’t know a huge amount about Sleaford – we’d obviously done our homework on Lincoln Moorlands!
“Given how they’re doing in the league, we’d expect them to be a similar test to Ruston, who we beat 2-0 in the third round.
“We may be considered favourites, but It’s a cup semi-final. We’ll need to be on our game if we want to make that final.
“It’d be nice to see a few fans down there to support us, it’s a 1.30pm kick off so those watching Holbeach or Pinchbeck could come and see us beforehand.
“We’ll need to play a bit better than we did against Thorney. We started very well, but Thorney put us under a lot of pressure in the second half.”
Harrox are missing Ben Allen, Phil Groves and Dan Woods for the cup semi.
Entry is free for the 1.30pm kick-off, while there is the possibility of extra-time and penalties.

- Long Sutton Athletic and Spalding Town will contest the final of the Spalding Inter-Services Trophy after both bagged big wins on Saturday.
Sutton walloped fierce rivals and holders Tydd St Mary 5-0 at London Road, with Tom Gosling helping himself to a hat-trick.
James Ward and sub Paul Newcombe also notched for Omar Joof’s side to seal their passage.
Meanwhile, Town tonked Holbeach Bank 5-0 at Knight Street. Tom Coote led the way with a treble, while Ricky Dickinson and Ash Wilson rounded things off.
