South Holland duo Spalding United and Holbeach United learned their fate in the three FA competitions today (Friday).
In the FA Cup, Holbeach will make the trip to Diss Town in the extra preliminary round on August 16 – with the winners banking £1,500 in prize money.
There is then a chance of a Lincolnshire derby in the preliminary stage, with the Tigers drawn at home to either UCL Premier Division rivals Boston Town or Walsham Le Willows. Spalding join the competition at this stage, hosting either Heanor Town or Long Eaton United.
Preliminary round fixtures will take place on August 30, with a prize fund of £1,925.
There is also a massive carrot for Holbeach to win their two FA Cup clashes, with giants King’s Lynn Town awaiting the winner in the first qualifying round should they progress that far.
In the FA Trophy, meanwhile, Pat Rayment’s Tulips have been handed an away tie at Soham Town Rangers in the preliminary stage on October 18. The winners will trouser £2,500 – and a trip to either Leek Town or Bedworth United in the next round.
The FA Vase has served up a Lincolnshire clash, with Graham Drury and John Chand’s Holbeach drawn at home to UCL Division One outfit Blackstones on October 14.
Whoever wins will pocket a cool £800.
