Moulton pull clear

Moulton Harrox moved to the top of the GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough League with a 5-0 defeat of Ramsey Town. Declan Earth scored twice to go with goals from Nathan Smith, Joe Townsend and substitute Jacob Drew. It put Moulton two points clear of reigning champions Uppingham.
Celebrations were also the order of the day at the opposite end of the table where Bradley Easey and Matthew Cousins were on target for Tydd at Oundle Town. It was Tydd’s first point of the campaign and ended a run of six defeats.
Goals from Otto Wood and Jordan Keeble were not enough to stop Holbeach United Reserves dropping into the bottom three with a 4-2 defeat at Sawtry.
A fourth straight win for Sutton Bridge United keeps them joint top of Division Two. Matt Eaton claimed a hat-trick with Jordan Ellison, Mark Garner and Ben Thompson also netting in a 6-0 win at Park Farm Pumas.
Klyden Lleshi’s second-half treble was in vain for Crowland Town Reserves, who suffered a third defeat in a row, going down 4-3 at home to Oakham United Reserves.
Kyle Davis and Nayden Koychev secured a valuable derby point for Tydd Reserves in a 2-2 draw with Whaplode Drove Reserves to move off bottom of the table. Jamie Graham and Michael McGowen replied.
