Living just behind this plot at 11 Spalding Common I have put in an objection and invite other Spalding residents to do the same! The deadline is February 22.
There is far too much boxy housing with no land being built on infill plots which encourages an unsightly gathering of parked cars and the incarceration of residents: who wants to stroll around a desert of buildings and cars on pavements?

In an era of home working, surroundings need to be pleasant with space enough under roof for a business to start up successfully.
The Local Plan has outlined large areas for residential development and if the infrastructure was started then piecemeal development on decent plots can be started by local developers instead of waiting for national firms to build huge estates of boxes with no input from the people who are to live in those houses.
