It’s all to play for in snooker league

With five matches left until the season ends, it’s still all to play for across all three divisions of the Spalding and District Snooker League.
Three points separate first and second in Division One. Bourne SC A are just in the lead on 83 points, with Boundary on their tail with 80 points.
On Thursday night Bourne beat Pyramid A 5-1, but Boundary couldn’t get the better of Sutton Bridge, losing 4-2.
Mark Gray (O105) got Bourne SC off to a good start with a win over Dean Cole (O14), scoring breaks of 67 and 28 during the frame.
Shane Balding (O56) starred for Sutton, knocking in a 40 break on his way to a deciding frame victory over Daniel Smith (O7).
Boundary have a game in hand over Bourne.
Third-placed Bourne SC B didn’t have a game, while fourth-placed Bourne SC C lost 5-1 away at Holbeach C.
A 25 clearance from Holbeach’s Mark Gregory (O42) saw him to a victory over Jack Chilvers (O14).
Leaders Consti G lost some ground at the top of Division Two after a 6-0 thrashing away to Donington A.
The loss allowed second-placed Holbeach E to close with gap with a 5-1 win over Consti I.
Phil Coaten (O21) was the only loser for Holbeach, falling to Pete Stokes (R7).
Consti B dropped to third following a 5-1 loss at Services E.
Joel Shears (R7), Paul Spicer (O7), Kevin Robbs (R14) and Alan Day (R7) got the points for Services, with Mick Johnson (O28) getting a consolation point for Consti.
Whittlesey C are leading Division Three but a single game win is making the difference.
They are sitting level on 89 points with second placed Gosberton D, with only games won putting them ahead.
They beat clubmates Whittlesey B 4-2 with victories from Jason Bloomfield (O14), Paul Cook (O14) and Simon Parker (O7).
Gosberton D didn’t have a game this week.
Donington B are still in third place, despite losing 4-2 to Consti D.
