Gosberton in lead by one point

It’s as you were in the Spalding and District Billiards League with no change in the standings this week.
Gosberton B remain as leaders, despite not having a game on Monday night, with Holbeach B just one point behind them.
They beat Consti A 5-2 to close the gap at the top.
Denis Hix (R70) and Chris Chamberlain (R50) got the points for Holbeach, with Stewart Davies (R50) getting the better of Neil Harvey (R50) to win for Consti.
Chamberlain got breaks of 28 and 22 on his way to beating Alan Hansard (R80).
Third-placed Holbeach A won 5-2 away to Consti B.
Ben Harding (R40) beat Steve Spencer (R110) and Phil Coaten (R70) got the better of Mick Johnson (O150) for Holbeach, while Jason Rose (R20) took the points for Consti B, beating Mick Cooper (O190).
Breaks on the night came from Rose (25, 20), Johnson (40, 39) and Cooper (42, 30, 27, 22, 21, 21).
The other match of the night saw Donington whitewash Pyramid A 7-0.
Nigel Brasier (R70), Tony Scully (R40) and Ben Wrigglesworth (R20) all won, seeing off John Clapton (R100), Reegan Cooke-Holmes (R70) and John Twell (R70).
Clapton knocked in a consolation 21 break during his frame.
