Couple leave pharmacy

A husband and wife team who have served customers in their Sutton Bridge pharmacy for more than two decades have stepped away from the business.

Paul and Janice Denwood have been familiar faces at Nene Pharmacy on Bridge Road for 21 years, but have recently sold it and are looking forward to the next chapter in their lives.

“We want to say a huge thank you to everyone for all their good wishes and especially to the people we worked with. It has been a privilege and an honour to look after the people we have served over the years,” said Mr Denwood.

The couple (pictured) live in Long Sutton and have worked in the pharmacy profession for more than 30 years in total. The business officially changed hands at the beginning of the month.

They were overwhelmed with good wishes and gifts, including a pizza oven and ‘loads’ of chocolate, said Mrs Denwood.

The couple had more than 20 staff working with them at the pharmacy and both of them said how much they would miss everyone.

“We were very lucky to work with some lovely people,” they added.
