Three brand new two-bedroom houses have been handed over to South Holland District Council.

Broadgate Homes built the homes in Lutton to modern specifications and much improved energy efficiency standards compared to older council housing.

The site at Puddingpoke Lane was previously brownfield land with an unused garage and surplus garden land attached to another council house.

A council spokesman said: “The development was designed to make the most efficient use of the site, and will provide much needed affordable housing to complement existing council stock and help meet ongoing demand.”

Broadgate Homes, of Weston Hills, have been building houses for the council across the district since 2006.
