Baytree backs Give a Gift appeal

The Give A Gift Appeal has received a huge boost this week thanks to Weston’s Baytree Garden Centre donating 300 presents.

The gifts will be added to scores of amazing presents given by our generous readers, ensuring children who wouldn’t normally get a present will have a happier Christmas.

Harry Drury, of We’ll Let Your House, said: “I would like to thank Baytree for giving such admiral and extraordinary support to the local community.”

John Birch, of Baytree, said: “This is a very worthwhile cause and one we have supported since it was set up. Christmas is first and foremost about family and to see a child’s face when he or she opens a present is a joy that words cannot describe.”

The Spalding and South Holland Voice has teamed up with We’ll Let Your House to launch the appeal.

We’d be delighted if you decide to support the appeal, which closes on December 17, but ask you not to gift wrap your present – they need to be assessed to ensure children receive suitable toys.

We are accepting gifts suitable for children from three to 14 years. We cannot accept secondhand items, cuddly toys, cosmetics, make-up, bath products or perishables.
