Balls to prostate cancer

Dropping balls helped raise over £200 for Prostate Cancer UK.

Phyllis Newton’s latest monthly bingo night at the Whaplode Village Hall helped the charity after another fantastic turnout for the event.

In total the players raised £203 and Paul Denman from Prostate Cancer UK was on hand to collect the cheque.

Phyllis said: “It was another good turnout considering it is holiday time for people.”

Her next bingo is for the British Heart Foundation and takes place at the village hall on Friday, September 20.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event with doors open at 6pm and eyes down at 7pm.
