Access for all at club

Spalding Indoor Bowls Club is making itself more accessible to all players.
Today (Thursday) sees the launch of a new motorised wheelchair, which was bought with contributions from South Holland district councillors.
A bowls taster session for anyone wishing to try the popular sport is on offer at the club, which is in the Castle Sports Complex, in Albion Street.
The event gets under way at 4pm and refreshments will be provided.
As part of a drive to encourage new members, the club held an open weekend at the end of February. Equipment was provided for the free sessions and more are being planned.
The club also has a thriving social scene. For more details, visit: www.spaldingindoorbowls.co.uk
