David Fitter claimed top spot in Division One of Spalding Golf Club’s March Senior Stableford event.
In an event that attracted 95 seniors and was restricted to 16 holes, Fitter scored 37 points.
Keith Rate topped Division Two with 40 points at the Surfleet course.
Results: Division One: 1st David Fitter (19) 37pts; 2nd Stephen Leggett (17) 36pts; 3rd Richard Edwards (8) 36pts; 4th David Bark (17) 35pts; 5th Neil Wilkinson (8) 35pts.
Division Two: 1st Keith Rate (22) 40pts; 2nd Richard Peck (27) 37pts; 3rd John Cooper (32) 36pts; 4th Stuart Fitzjohn (20) 36pts; 5th Bill Prosser (21) 36pts.
Tydd St Giles Golf Club
Mark Cooper and Neil Morphew emerged as the winners of Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s February Pairs Stableford event.
The duo racked up 47 points in the men’s section event to pip two teams by a solitary point.
Just missing out on the trophy in second were Tim Hipkin and Terry Alcock, whose score of 46 points edged Leigh Chapman and Liam Chapman into third spot on countback.
Garry Fitzjohn and Tim Murphy can consider themselves very unfortunate to be back in fourth place just one point further back on 45.
