Spread your wings at RSPB fun day

V COMMUNITY

Your young Chris Packhams and Michaela Strachans can spread their wings with a family fun day at the RSPB’s Frampton Marsh nature reserve on Sunday.

The day is themed around butterflies and dragonflies, with lots for your kids to do.

Help attract butterflies to your own garden by making a butterfly feeder or create your own butterfly puppet.

Your kids will also be able to design their very own dragonfly to take home.

A face painter will be on hand to turn your children into their creature of choice, from beautiful butterflies to spooky spiders.

Weather permitting there will also be a display of local moths, caught on the reserve.

The family fun day runs from 10.30am to 4pm and costs £3 per child.

Chris Andrews, visitor services officer, said: “Butterflies and dragonflies are some of Lincolnshire’s most beautiful creatures. The fun day will help introduce them to your kids in an exciting way.”
