Spooky fun helps family charity

More than 100 witches, ghouls and werewolves met at Spalding’s South Holland Centre to help families with young children.

The town centre venue was hosting a Halloween party to raise funds for local charity
Ella’s Project.

“We are all very grateful for the support we received and comments from party-goers during and after the event,” said Mark Le Sage, founder of The Rightside Trust which manages Ella’s Project.

“I would like to say some special thank-yous to Vikki Mathews and her partner Alan, the staff at the centre and live band Zebra who really went to town,” he added.

Ella’s Project helps young families in the local area in need of support with donations of a variety children’s clothes for youngsters aged from nought to five years.

“It is great to be able to help a small, local project and we and everyone who attended had an amazing night. We are all really looking forward to next year’s event already on October 26,” said Mike Butler, drummer with Zebra.
