Spalding RFC smashed as Matlock hand them heaviest defeat of the season

Spalding RFC suffered a huge 74-0 defeat at Matlock on Saturday as they failed to make their game in hand pay.

Rock-bottom Town are now 20 points from safety with six games remaining in Midlands Two East (North) as they face up to the prospect of a second relegation in three seasons.

The defeat is Spalding’s heaviest of the season.
