Showroom refurbishment puts Taylors firmly in 21st century

Taylors Vauxhall, Spalding, Ad feature for revamped showroom

The company, which has been trading in Spalding for 34 years, has endured massive upheaval for the past four months while work has been done to bring its showroom bang up to date.

Company owner and managing director Tim Taylor said: “It’s been ten years since we had our last refurbishment and it was definitely time for another.

“Work started on May 1 and finished on August 31, so it’s been a long project but we’re delighted with the result – it’s certainly a showroom of today.

“We would like to thank all our customers for their patience and understanding while the work has been going on.”

The new showroom boasts a refitted customer waiting lounge complete with television, a Wi-Fi bar, allowing customers to work or browse the internet while waiting for their vehicle and a new central display unit telling people all they need to know about Vauxhall.

Tim added: “We’ve had the flooring ripped up and retiled, new lighting and we now have space for seven cars, as opposed to the five we had before, so the whole Vauxhall range, from the smallest vehicle, the Adam, to the largest, the Zafira Tourer, is on show.”

Taylors has a sales team of two executives with almost 30 years’ experience between them, managed by Tim, so customers can be sure they will receive the best advice and service when they visit.

To prove this Taylors is incredibly proud to boast that the company has recently won the Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award 2014.

Tim said: “The award goes to the top 25 dealerships in the country, so we are very proud to have to won it.

“It highlights good sales service both before and after a purchase.”

Taylors’ focus is very much on one-to-one friendly service and sound advice without the pressure customers can often feel when visiting a car showroom.

Tim added: “We pride ourselves on the amount of repeat business we get. Once people have bought a car from us we like to think that they will keep dealing with us.
