Seven-year-old hit by car

A seven-year-old was hurt after he was hit by a car in Spalding.

The young boy was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, after the accident with a Ford Fiesta in Pennygate, at around 4.45pm yesterday (Tuesday).

It is not known how serious his injuries were.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened close to the playing field, to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 228 of June 10.
