Spalding police officers are reminding cyclists of the importance of bike security.
They are recommending a double-lock with a D-lock and a cable lock adding extra layers of security.
Officers also suggest cyclists change the bay used so there is no regular pattern to bikes being left.
If possible, use an area with lights and CCTV.
On April 6, the neighbourhood police team will be at Spalding Sainsbury’s from 10am to 2pm and at the Castle Sports Complex from 5pm to 8pm. Security advice will be on offer and locks for sale.
