It might be the first time in its 180 year history that they’ve not been able to meet, but a Spalding branch of the Masonic Lodge is still handing out charity donations.

The Hundred of Elloe lodge regularly donate some of their takings to local charities.

And recently longstanding lodge member, John Holmes presented a cheque for £500 to the chair of the South Holland branch of PHAB Andrew Inkley.

PHAB promotes and encourages opportunities for disabled and non-disabled people to share experiences on an equal basis and thereby contribute towards a fully inclusive society.

The Hundred of Elloe Lodge charity steward Chris Moore, said: “We try to give our funding to local charity and we came across PHAB and the fantastic work they do.

“They look after disabled and non-disabled people to get them involved in communities including by putting on events, which is a lovely thing.”
