Youngsters were able to get up close and personal with some baby animals at a special Easter event.

The Playbarn at Springfields Outlet Shopping, Spalding, hosted Ark Farm’s mobile petting zoo over the weekend.

Children were able to meet chickens, ducks, lambs, cows, piglets, goats and a black Labrador puppy at the event.

The petting zoo was held over four days of the Easter weekend and youngsters loved meeting the gorgeous baby animals.

Other attractions over the weekend included a giant Easter egg hunt, the Springfields land train and a craft fair, along with plenty of shopping opportunities.

Ark Farm, which is based in Bedfordshire, takes its mobile petting zoo to schools, nurseries, children’s centres and residential homes to give people the chance to meet the animals.
