It’s in with the new at Spalding car dealership Crowsons as its showroom has been given a new lease of life.
Crowsons has been at the forefront of the car business in Spalding for more than 60 years, but it has been more than 15 years since its premises in Wardentree Lane had undergone a facelift.
So the time had come to brighten things up – and that’s just what has happened with a tasteful redecoration throughout, bringing Volkswagen’s orange Das WeltAuto branding across the site.
Crowsons has worked closely with Volkswagen UK and its appointed corporate identity specialists Integrity to achieve its new look, which has included a new service reception area, new customer waiting area and energy efficient lighting.
The overall effect is a bright and spacious showroom, showing off the nearly new and approved used cars Crowsons has built its reputation on as well as providing a welcoming and inviting area where customers can browse, ask the advice of Crowsons staff or book a service, repair or MoT.
A Volkswagen dealer since 1977, Crowsons has anywhere from 60 to 90 nearly new and approved used vehicles on site at any one time, with something to suit all budgets.
Full finance facilities are also available.
Crowsons, which has a workforce of 32 local employees, also offers full Volkswagen service, warranty, parts and bodyshop facilities across its two sites in Pinchbeck.
It is open seven days a week for sales and its full vehicle stock is available to view online, as is the ability to book an MoT or service.
The retailer has been working with local companies Electrotech Solutions, James Cottam Flooring, Simon Barker Plumbing and Heating and Neil Palmer Electrical to complete the transformation.
Jordan Crowson said: “We are extremely pleased with how the new showroom looks now.
“The previous concept had been in place since 1999 so the rebrand was well overdue.
“Many customers have been commenting on how nice the showroom and grounds look now, especially the new waiting area – it is always nice to hear that people are noticing that we’ve made changes to our business.”

Crowsons service department is open 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to noon on Saturday.
The sales department is open 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
