An 81-year-old man has appeared at Boston Magistrates Court on historic sexual abuse charges involving a girl under 14.
Colin Ringer of Seagate Road, Long Sutton entered no pleas to the eight charges he faces, which are four allegations of indecent assault, one of gross indecency, two of rape and one of a serious sexual assault.
All the alleged offences relate to a single girl and are said to have taken place between January 1992 and December 1997.
No pleas were entered and Ringer was sent for trial at Lincoln Crown Court with a first hearing on
February 27.
