Legendary England keeper Shilton is Spalding United’s latest guest

Two-time European Cup winning keeper Peter Shilton will be the next big name to headline Spalding United’s annual celebrity dinner.

The former England goalkeeper – who won a record 125 caps for his country – will be joined by current Ipswich Town coach and former West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Jimmy Walker, who will be hosting the evening at Surfleet Village Hall on October 3.

Shilton follows Bryan Robson, Neil Ruddock, Stuart Pearce, Ian Wright and Jimmy Bullard who have been guest speakers at recent editions of the annual dinner to wide acclaim.

Tickets are priced at £600 for a table of ten, which includes a three-course dinner, a raffle and a questions and answers session with Shilton.

Tickets can be purchased over the phone by calling 07917 532796, or by emailing treasurer@spaldingunited.net for further information.

As ever, the tickets are sold on a first come first-served basis.
