WINNER: Danny Spencer grabbed Holbeach’s only goal against his old side.
Holbeach United moved five points clear at the top of the UCL Premier Division on Saturday with a 1-0 victory at Oadby Town.
A first-half goal from Danny Spencer – one of four ex-Oadby men in the Tigers’ team – made it six wins from as many league matches for Graham Drury and John Chand’s side.
In the ChromaSport Peterborough League, Moulton Harrox also remain unbeaten after picking up a 2-1 win at Deeping Rangers Reserves.
It’s now two wins and four draws for Harrox, who are up to seventh in the Premier Division standings.
Meanwhile, Pinchbeck United suffered a second defeat on the spin – and their first in the league – as they went down 3-1 at Peterborough Sports Reserves.
At the wrong end of the table, Holbeach United Reserves’ search for a win goes on after they lost 3-1 at home to Riverside.
Jordan Keeble got the only goal for Omar Joof’s side, but they remain bottom of the table.
Crowland Town are just above them after being smashed 8-0 at Netherton United.
