In-form Wilson eyeing up an elusive podium finish at one of his favourite circuits

Ben Wilson is hoping to keep his eye-catching recent form in the British Supersport Championship going at Knockhill this weekend.

Following his two strong results of fourth and sixth at Brands Hatch last time out, Kirton racer Wilson travels to Scotland for round five of the series confident of two good showings to boost his overall points tally.

Knockhill was the scene of many wins and podiums prior to his accident in 2015 and he is relishing the return to one of his favourite circuits to see if he can visit the podium once again.

With two races on offer, one shorter sprint race on Saturday and then the full distance feature race on Sunday, Wilson will have two bites of the cherry to try for an elusive podium finish.

The timetable for the British Supersport championship is: Friday – free practice 9.40am and 2.25pm. Saturday – qualifying 11.20am; 18-lap sprint race 5.05pm. Sunday – warm-up 10.18am; 26-lap feature race 3.40pm.
