Iconic pilot is returning to Ayscoughfee

A pilot who has flown the iconic Lancaster aircraft across the globe is coming back to Ayscoughfee Hall to talk on his fascinating career.

Mike Chatterton, who taxies the Lancaster “Just Jane” at the Lincolnshire Heritage Aviation Centre will be visiting the historic venue on Saturday, November 19, from 2pm.

The talk follows a previous visit from Mr Chatterton (pictured) in September which proved extremely popular and sold out weeks in advance.

Mr Chatterton will give a special presentation called A Tale of Two Lancs, which, with the aid of photos and short video clips, describes some of his favourite moments flying the famous aircraft.

Tickets cost £5 and can be booked by calling Ayscoughfee Hall on 01775 764555 or emailing museum@sholland.gov.uk
