G&S Racing Kawasaki trio ready to complete campaign on a high at Brands Hatch

The three-man G&S Racing Kawasaki squad head to Brands Hatch this weekend for the final round of the 2019 Pirelli National Superstock 1000 and 600 championships where the riders will aiming to end their season on a high note.

With Kevin Keyes already signed with the Wyberton team for next year he has nothing to prove and is set to enjoy his last race of the season with a top result in the Stock 600 class.

TJ Toms will also be hoping for another strong result after his fifth place finish at Donington Park two weeks ago. He will be hoping to replicate his top five place result at Brands Hatch.

Meanwhile, Milo Ward has also agreed terms and will be racing for G&S Racing in the Stock 1000 championship again next year. He has been making good progress throughout his first season on the big bike culminating with a points finish at Donington Park last time out.

Ward said: “After a tough start to the year, I feel like myself and the team have come on in leaps and bounds. Originally fighting for a top 30, now consistently fighting for the points, the bike, the team and myself have gelled and this gives us a great starting point for next year.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to G&S Racing for giving me the opportunity to prove what I can do this season and trusting me to take it even further next year.”

The team were also competing at the Stars at Darley meeting at Darley Moor last weekend – where team manager Tom Fisher returned to the track for a bit of fun while supporting his local circuit.

But the star of the show has to be Ward, who finished a very close third to John McGuinness in the first race and then beat him in the second race resulting in him finishing as runner-up to Richard Cooper who won the Stars at Darley trophy.

For Ward to beat a multiple TT winner and legend in his first year on the big bike is very special.

The Stock 1000 race at Brand Hatch is at 1.35pm on Sunday, with the Stock 600 race at 11.55am on Sunday.
