The Voice of Spalding and South Holland
A South Holland knitting group has donated £1,000 to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
The Come Knit with Us members raised the money last year and recently presented a cheque to the charity (pictured left.)
“We would like to thank all the people that came to our stalls in Crowland and Spalding and had a go on our unusual Lift off tree or bought an item we had made,” said Wilhelmiena Pope on behalf of all the members.
The club meets every Thursday afternoon at Weston Community Centre and new members are always welcome.
