Gosberton ace Abbi on fine form at Donington Park for Ginetta GT5 Challenge finale

Abbi Pulling completed her Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge campaign in 13th place after three strong finishes at Donington Park over the weekend.

The Gosberton teenager, who has taken to the Ginetta series superbly after a series of impressive feats on the karting scene, qualified in ninth place for race one and sixth position for the second outing.

Race one saw the South Holland speedster secure 12th, before she roared to an impressive sixth place in the second.

That saw Pulling starting in sixth place for the third race – and she duly held her position to claim her second top six placing of the weekend.

Speaking after the last race, Pulling said: “Another sixth place and an almost perfect end to the Ginetta GT5 Challenge season.

“Well done everybody for a very good hard-fought year. Congrats to Scott McKenna on winning the 2019 title.

“Thanks to all our GoFundMe supporters and our ‘Wing Nuts’ and of course our all of our sponsors and supporters. Gaining momentum for next season already!”
