Get ready for the Crowland Show

The historic Crowland Show is back bigger than ever for 2019.

Snowden Field will once again host the town’s top attraction on Saturday, June 29.

The event has its origins in the pre-World War Two Crowland Foal Show but was reinvigorated as an annual event in 1978.

It’s continued to grow since then and this year incorporates the Party in the Park and its very own 1940s Home Front and Vintage Show.

That will involve the 1940s Home Front providing dancing and conversation throughout the day as well as performances from the Blighty Belles group.

A host of ever popular vintage vehicles and machinery will also be available to enjoy.

Dog owners can enter their pets in the show in a host of categories.

There won’t be a horse show at this year’s event, but there will be the Crowland Gold Cup where you can go and cheer on the pantomime horses at noon.

There will also be donkey rides for the children alongside of a host of games and stalls as well as the Crowland Dance group showing off their routines.

The show opens at 9am with tickets £4 for adults, £2 for under 16s and over 60s.

A family ticket for two adults and two children under 12s is available for £10.
