Five-star Pinchbeck United Sunday make history with county cup win

A Josh Ford hat-trick steered Pinchbeck United Sunday to their own slice of history at the weekend.

The prolific striker starred at Sincil Bank as Tom Roberts’ Pinchbeck became the first-ever team from the Spalding Sunday League to lift the Lincs FA Sunday Cup with a 5-0 triumph over Thurlby United.

Tommy Treacher fired the quadruple-chasing side into the lead, before Ford’s quick-fire double made it 3-0 before the break.

Captain marvel Ford then completed his treble, before Andy Law rounded off the scoring.
