Five friendly games announced for new Spalding United under-21 side

Spalding United’s new under-21 side have announced their pre-season plans.

The team, managed by Lewis Thorogood and Graham Almond, have announced four away dates and one home clash ahead of the new season.

They will visit Bourne Town on July 11, then Blackstones on July 18, Langtoft United on July 26 and Lincoln Moorlands Railway on August 2 (all 7.30pm).

Spalding’s final friendly is at home to Coventry United on August 5 (noon), although there is a charge of £3 to take in that game at the Sir Halley.

Youths (12-16) are allowed in for £1, with accompanied under-12s going free.
