Firefighters’ sleigh dates

Spalding firefighters will be bringing some festive fun to South Holland later this month.

The station’s sleigh run will begin on Monday, December 17 starting at Spalding High School before heading to Matmore Gate, Heathfield Avenue, Thornton Road, Mulberry Way, Alexandra Road, Johnson Avenue, Bowditch Road, Clay Lane, Peck’s Drove, Viking Way, Saxon Close, Holyrood Walk, Edinburgh Drive, Balmoral Avenue, Marlborough Avenue, Edinburgh Drive, Sandringham Walk, WIndsor Drive, Edinburgh Drive, Balmoral Avenue, St James’s Way and Windsor Drive, finishing at the junction of Balmoral/Cowbit.

Tuesday, December 18 starting at Shakespeare Way, Dickens Way, Meadow Way, Broadway, Farrier Way, Horseshore Road, The Parkway, Rembrandt Way, Van Gogh Drive, Horseshoe Road, Hawthorn Bank, St John’s Road, Apeldoorn Gardens, Winsover Road, St Thomas’s Road, Cygnet Court, Magellan Way, Piccard Drive, Livingstone Drive and finish at Magellan Way.

On Wednesday, December 19 it starts at Monks House Playing Fields, Pennygate, Chaucer’s Way, Pennygate, Hannam Boulevard, Bourne Road, Carrington Road, Edward Road, Wygate Road, Woolram Wygate, Pennygate, Woodrow Place, Pennygate, Hereward Road, WInsover Road, West Parade, Pennygate, Tollgate, Park Road, Park Close, Park Avenue, Park Lane, Cathedral Drive finishing at Park Close/Woolram Wygate.

Thursday, December 20, start at Albert Street, Commercial Road, Chestnut Avenue, Rowan Avenue, Acacia Avenue, St Paul’s Road, Cherry Tree Grove, Laburnam Grove semicircle, Queens Road, Royce Road, Thames Road, Severn Road, Queens Road, Low Road, Juniper Crescent, Halmer Gate, Cley Hall Drive, Maple Grove, Albert Street finishing at Albert Street/Commercial Road.

On Friday, December 21 it starts at Derwent Way and heads to Danube Square, Tyne Close, Roeburn Way, Wygate Park, Belisana Road, Harlequin Drive, Wintergold Avenue, Avignon Road, Estella Way, Claudette Avenue, Nicolette Way, WItham Road, Saltern Driver, Claudette Avenue, Westerly Way, Bluebell Close, Tansy Way, The Hayfields, Poppy CLose, Chamomile Way, CLover Way, Wygate Road, Two Plank Lane, Lilburn Drive, Chaldean Way, Miles Bank, Daniel’s Reach, Fairview Way and finish at the junction with Woolram Wygate.
All the runs begin at 5.30pm.
