Fantastic four toast Treble 6s title at Tydd St Giles Golf Club

Four senior players from Tydd St Giles Golf Club are celebrating after winning the Treble 6s competition.

Kevin Merrison, Dave Punshon, Chris Tirrell and Michael Flint managed a combined score of 123 points to take the top spot overall.

They saw off Bob Mann, Peter Neve, Brian Newby and Gary Brown in second spot by three points (120pts).

Brown with (120 points); 3rd Geoff Chappell, Paul Kingswood, Baz Smith and Lee Newman (119 points).

• Seniors monthly medal results: Division One – 1st Mick Vassall 77-7=70; 2nd Noel Bratt 83-12=71; 3rd Tim Martin 84-11=73.

Division Two – 1st Tom Jolly 90-18=72 (ocb); 2nd Dave Punshon 88-16=72; 3rd Philip Wilkinson 89-17=72 (ocb).

Division Three – 1st Bob Mann 94-22=72 (ocb); 2nd Colin Page 96-24=72; 3rd Roger Oughton 96-23=73.

Division Four – 1st Bob Ellis 100-26=74; 2nd Tony Petch 103-27=76; 3rd Dennis Boone 105-28=77.
