A Holbeach woman’s 80th birthday party has raised more than £750 for the town’s hospital.
More than 75 friends and family joined birthday girl Dot Gurd at Holbeach WI Hall on Saturday, October 26, and donated a total of £759.50 for her chosen cause.
Dot has had treatment at the hospital and said it is “brilliant”.
“You couldn’t ask for better staff,” she said.
Dot said the party was “wonderful” and she thanks all her friends and family for making the journey to celebrate.
