Spalding town centre has been closed after reports of a person carrying a gun in town.
Lincolnshire Police just before 11.30am tweeted: “We are in #Spalding after a report of a man who had what looked like a gun.
“It’s unconfirmed what type of weapon, or if it is a replica. No reports of threats made or injuries.
“As part of this operation we are closing the A151, Winsover Road between St Thomas Rd and Swan St.”
However a member of the public has contacted The Voice to say the roads are now open.
