Spalding United pulled off a huge win in the Evo-Stick Division with a 2-1 victory at basement boys AFC Mansfield.
First half goals from James Hugo (9) and new signing Kieran Well (28) set the Tulips on their way to a second successive victory.
Giuseppe Iaciofano halved the deficit just before the hour mark and Mansfield threw men forward looking to snatch something from the game.
But Spalding held on to move to 13th in the division and six points above the bottom two.
Both South Holland sides in the United Counties League Premier Division also picked up wins.
Holbeach United were dramatic 2-1 winners at home to Peterborough Northern Star at Carter’s Park.
Josh Ford got a late winner for the home side after Reif Clarke had seen his earlier effort ruled out.

Chromasport Peterborough and District Football League Premier Division leaders Moulton Harrox strengthened their lead at the top with a convincing 3-0 victory over Long Sutton Athletic.
Elsewhere Holbeach United Reserves won 4-3 at Oakham, Tydd beat Whittlesey 2-1 and Sutton Bridge United lost 5-1 at Thorney.
