Baytree trip for Holbeach home residents

Patients at the Beech Lodge respite home, part of Holbeach Hospital, were treated to a special festive trip to Baytree Garden Centre just before Christmas.

They were able to meet Father Christmas himself, feed the reindeer and have afternoon tea.

Activities coordinator, Jackie White said: “It was a really lovely afternoon, the residents got to reminisce about meeting Father Christmas when they were children and relive many fond childhood memories.

“For the residents it was the first time in years that they had been able to meet with Father Christmas so it was a truly magical afternoon.”

A spokesman for the Holbeach and East Elloe Hospital Trust said: “Everyone really enjoyed the afternoon and many thanks to Baytree for being so hospitable.”
