Holbeach man (29) accused of assault

A Holbeach man accused of assault has been remanded on bail until his next court appearance. Appearing before magistrates in Boston on Wednesday (May 3), Scott Berry, of Branches Lane, denied a charge of beating Katie Harron on April 17. The case was adjourned for trial on June 13.

Spalding resident (25) fined for stealing from Sainsbury’s

A Spalding resident has been fined £200 for stealing groceries from Sainsbury’s. Appearing before magistrates in Boston on Wednesday (May 3), Martin Beale, of Kingfisher Court, pleaded guilty to stealing goods worth between £300 and £500 between December 2016 and March 18 this year. He was also ordered to pay £200 compensation.

An arrest warrant for a 32-year-old Gedney man has been issued. Craig Johnson, of Batemans Close, is accused of damaging an e-cigarette worth £69 in Holbeach on April 9 this year. Johnson failed to answer bail at Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (May 3) and a warrant for arrest without bail was issued.
